Host a Workshop

Hosting a workshop is a great way to bring top quality training to your agency or region. Being a host can boost your agency's visibility and image.  If you are the training coordinator, it can do the same for your career.

You can host an in-house workshop exclusively for the members of your agency or an open enrollment workshop that is open to outside agencies. We provide a discounted flat rate for in-house workshops and provide two free seats for the host agency of open enrollment workshops.

All we require is a suitable classroom with tables and chairs. We typically use a pod style, or team style setting with up to 6 people per tabletop.  Considering approximately 30 square feet per person, 900 square feet will fit 30 comfortably with five or six tabletop arrangements.  600 square feet will fit approximately 4 tables or 24 people.  A larger space is always better. If you don’t have an adequate classroom, consider using a community room, conference center, or a hotel meeting room.

We will also require LCD screens or at a minimum a PowerPoint projector, a projection screen, and an easel with paper. Host agencies generally provide morning coffee and some provide snacks. Your hospitality level is what your agency is able and willing to offer.  We handle everything else including phone inquiries, registration, instructional materials, certificates, etc.

Filling open enrollment workshops is a team effort. We use direct mail and email to market throughout your region and state. We ask you to send out training announcements and to spread the word in your region. Occasionally it might be necessary for you to make a few targeted phone calls to get neighboring agencies involved, but usually filling a class isn’t difficult.
